Gretchen Ruiz Ramos
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1975, Gretchen experiments with photography since her childhood and studied the medium in her country at La Liga de Arte and in Barcelona, Spain. In her personal fine art work, she focuses in landscapes with an interest in creating environmental and social awareness. In addition to photography studies in IDEP, Barcelona she has a BBA in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico and an MA in Education with a specialization in Museum Studies from Caribbean University, Puerto Rico. The photographer works freelance and teaches artistic photography at Atlantic University College. She works in the arts as a cultural facilitator under her new organization Pitirre Proyectos, an initiative to offer art services to the artistic community.
